Growing up in a family in whose lives’ nature and hunting played a big part, I got the opportunity to hunt my first animal at the age of 9.
After this the passion for the outdoors took over, as a result I was fortunate enough to hunt all over South Africa, as well as Namibia growing up, and gained valuable experience.
After school I completed a degree in Tourism Management but life was always going to steer me in one direction which was Professional hunting. I did my Professional Hunting exams in 2008 and excelled in excellence followed up by a 2-year apprenticeship in Mozambique after which I worked on different game reserves as a Professional Hunter over the last 17 years guiding Dangerous game as well as Plains Game Safaris in South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, and Tanzania.
In 2010 I obtained my first Dangerous Game License in Mozambique and in 2014 I qualified for a Full Dangerous Game license in Tanzania and have been Guiding Numerous Buffalo, Leopard, and other Plains Game hunts all over Mozambique and Tanzania to gain more experience through every hunt.
I hold a firm belief that you are never too old to learn anything new about the bush and the different habits of game in various parts of the World. I hold the opinion that this is what makes any Hunting Safari so unique in that no two days are the same out in the African Bush!!!!!
I always say if you are going on Safari in Africa, regardless of location, remember to adapt to the pace of Nature. That is when you feel the most alive and free and never let a slow day get you down because you just don’t know what is waiting around the next corner.
